ABOUT THE WORD OF GOD

The most important issue in the Christian way of life after the believer understands the significance of being "in fellowship" with God, is
spiritual growth "in the grace & the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ." (2 Peter 3:18) It is only as we learn the word of God and let it
dwell "richly" within our soul, that we can be successful at reflecting the character of Christ in our life, experience the abundant life of peace & joy and fulfill our job of AMBASSADORSHIP for which God has left us here on earth. Therefore, not only is it imperative that we LEARN God's word, but we must also cultivate an attitude of true faith-trust in His Word, knowing that man indeed, does not live by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD OF GOD.

Romans 15:4

For whatever was written in earlier times
was written for our instruction
so that through the endurance and comfort
that comes from the scriptures
we might have confidence.

Romans 4:21

What God has promised
He is able also to perform

Philippians 4:9

The things you have learned
and heard and seen in me
practice these things
and the God of peace shall be with you.

1 Timothy 4:16

Pay close attention to yourself
and to your teaching
persevere in these things
for as long as you do this
you will deliver both yourself
and those who hear you.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

All scripture is God-breathed
and profitable for teaching
for motivation, for correction
for training in righteousness
so that the man of God may be capable
equipped for every good work.

James 1:5

But if any of you lack wisdom
let him ask of God
who gives to all men generously
and does not reproach
and it will be given to him.

James 1:25

But the one who looks intently
at the perfect law of liberty
and abides by it
not having become a forgetful hearer
but a productive doer
this man shall be made happy in what he does.

Proverbs 1:33

He who listens to me (wisdom)
shall live securely
and shall be free from the fear of evil.

Psalm 119:11

Your word I have stockpiled in my heart
so that I might not sin against You.

2 Peter 1:3

Since His divine power
has granted to us everything
pertaining to life and worship
through the full knowledge of Him.
